Preacher (2016 TV Series) - Season 1 - Episode 3

In the first season, Jesse Custer struggles with his past as a thief and his new role as preacher, while his old lover Tulip returns seeking revenge on Carlos, who abandoned them during a robbery and caused her to miscarry Jesse’s baby. Cassidy arrives in Annville after a bloody run-in with vampire hunters and becomes Jesse’s fast friend, though he and Tulip sleep together before he learns their history. Jesse uses Genesis for good, but his intentions backfire: he accidentally sends Sheriff Root’s son Eugene to hell and makes an enemy of local businessman Odin Quincannon. The season culminates with Jesse gathering the town, including Quincannon, as he calls God on a stolen device; the town is shocked when an imposter appears and confesses God is missing.
