An elf mage Frieren after her victorious 10-year quest with the Heros party to defeat the Demon King. Due to her long lifespan, she barely ages, watching as her human companions grow old and pass away. Filled with regret for not having connected with them more deeply, she embarks on a new journey with her human apprentice, Fern, to learn about humanity, experience life, and visit the place where souls rest to say a proper farewell to her friend Himmel.
