Cape Fear is a 2026 Apple TV+ psychological thriller limited series, a chilling reimagining inspired by Martin Scorsese’s 1991 film and the 1962 classic of the same name (both based on John D. The story centers on Anna Bowden (Amy Adams) and Tom Bowden (Patrick Wilson), a happily married couple and attorneys whose lives are shattered when Max Cady (Javier Bardem), the notorious killer they helped imprison, is released from prison and launches a campaign of revenge against them.
