Spider-Man 2 (2004)

Two years after the first film, Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) is struggling to balance his double life, causing his grades, jobs, and relationships to suffer. Tormented by his guilt and secrets, he even begins to lose his powers. He confronts his mentor, brilliant nuclear scientist Dr. Otto Octavius (Alfred Molina), who is transformed into the powerful and corrupted villain Doctor Octopus. Peter must regain his resolve, save the woman he loves, Mary Jane, and stop Doc Ock from destroying New York with his unstable fusion experiment.
