Michal (Kryštof Hádek), a neurotic and deeply pessimistic man nearing forty, is utterly convinced that nobody likes him. Despite his beautiful, loving girlfriend, he constantly sabotages his own relationships through a chronic need for confrontation and self-pity. When a series of personal crises including losing his job and a complicated encounter with his ex-wife forces him to finally confront his self-destructive behavior, Michal must undergo a reluctant and often hilarious journey toward self-acceptance and the realization that the world might not be entirely against him.
