Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra (2025)

Lokah: Chapter 1 – Chandra introduces Malayalam cinema's first female-led superhero universe. The film follows Chandra (Kalyani Priyadarshan), a mysterious woman with supernatural abilities who is forced to live a quiet life in Bengaluru. Her attempt to lay low is shattered when she uses her powers to thwart a local organ-trafficking syndicate, ultimately revealing her ancient ties to the folklore legend of Kalliyankattu Neeli and setting the stage for a larger conflict between mythic and modern forces.
