James Cameron (born August 16, 1954) is a legendary Canadian filmmaker, inventor, and deep-sea explorer renowned for directing three of the four highest-grossing films of all time: Avatar, Titanic, and Avatar: The Way of Water. As of late 2025, he has further solidified his status as a cinematic titan with the release of the third Avatar installment.
